Success Story: Stop paying Google Ads for the wrong customers.

I just wrapped up a Workshop with a limousine driver who was frustrated with his Google Ads. He set it up himself (which is great initiative!), but he was bleeding money and getting zero bookings.

When we looked at his dashboard, we found the culprit immediately. Under his "Search Terms," he was paying for clicks from people searching for "car repair" and "taxi services."

He runs a luxury limo service. He does not fix transmissions.

Here is how we stopped the bleeding in one session:

Emergency Budget Cut: We immediately lowered his daily budget to stop the waste while we fixed the foundation.

Negative Keywords: We added "repair," "mechanic," and "taxi" to his negative keyword list. Now, his ads will never show for those searches again. (Example below)

Location Audit: We tightened his targeting to ensure he is only showing up for people in his actual service area, not halfway across the country.

Bonus Win: With the time left in our Workshop, we audited his Google Business Profile. We fixed the capitalization errors in his business name and used Google Gemini to rewrite his service descriptions so they actually pop.

The Lesson: Google Ads isn't "set it and forget it." If you haven't checked your "Search Terms" this month, you are likely paying for clicks you don't want.
