I’ve used Loom for years to record tutorials and give feedback, and a bunch of other videos, but I ran into a different use case recently that I really liked. With the job market being a little tougher right now, a strategy to get interviews is to be unconventional. Instead of just attaching a PDF cover letter, you could send a short video intro to the hiring manager or put the link within the application. It makes you memorable and lets them see your personality in a mix of just words from everyone else. My other favorite part of this is actually the analytics. You get a notification the moment they watch it. It kills that anxiety of wondering if anyone actually opened your application.
